Can anyone give me some insight on the two mechanical levers directly behind the gear shift lever on my (newly acquired) 1949 Super A. They seem to drop each lift arm independently for some reason. Does it have to do with the set of plows I have?

T Reay: Yes, your plow will be what is refered to as a two way. You can plow a furrow with one of them, at end you trip that mechanism, that causes other plow to lower next, thus you turn and go back along furrow you just plowed.

These are a nice little plow and if you have all of it, take good care of it. So many of them have pieces missing after all those years. For example I have the rear rockshaft, and nothing else. Someone somewhere is missing something they need.
