No, you have to dissasemble the entire final drive to remove the pinion shafts, the bull gears are in the way,, to get the bearing cages out of the housing. Hope this helps,, ChadS

I can save you a bunch of work here , Pull the PTO shaft out and with a 3/4 drive set you can remopve the bolt in the bull gear and then remove the axel and axel housing then the bull pinion it is a bunch faster then pullen the top off the tractor . You use the wheel to break the bolt loose since you have no room to work the ratchet and the same when you go back together you can start the bull gear back on the axel before you start the axel housing back on the tractor and you can reach thru to wiggel the bull gear on far enough to start the bolt.

Just becareful, it does depend on which side you need to remove if your just removing one side,, if your taking off the right side, its possible for the carrier to slide off te other pinion shaft, and fall into the rear end housing, Im thinking the right side, hold the ring gear against the pinion shaft. Ive had em fall off there, and had to take the top plate off, I wasnt a happy camper when that happened. LOL! Procede with caution, git r done! ChadS
