Well here it is buddy, and it is the cat's meow. Got my daughter's building pad for her double wide done today, and started clearing brush and trees on about a hundred acres of woods. Ifn I live long enough we might have some grassland yet. :-) :-) :-) Harley

Boy it'd make quick work of a fence row. I've got a lot of cedar brush and small oak trees up to about a foot across, and I haven't found anything it won't knock over yet. Just raise that bucket up about 12 feet and you got leverage up the wazoo. Harley

You know Harley I got a mostly burried woven wire fence on the creek bottom that your loader there would just be the ticket to work out. Nice looking rig.

Yep, 582 hours on it. Owned by the state of Texas. That's what the hr. meter shows, and I took the cover off the air filter today to check it, and it was put on new in 1988 at 532 hrs, printed on the filter with black marker. The only thing I've found wrong with it so far was the fuel filters were full of crap. Got it on Ebay, sight unseen, for $22,000.00. Paid $1400.00 to have it shipped to Springfield, Mo from Houston. You CAN buy large ticket items with some confidence if you get a feel for the people you are dealing with. This seller had 719 positive feedback on larger tools, etc. so I felt pretty good about it. The tractor was just as described. Couldn't be happier with it. Harley

You do know, don't you, that there is a downside to all of this?

All of a sudden, you're gonna have a rush of new friends. All wanting you and your beast to come clear for 'em.

Those rippers are just what the doctor ordered for your timber project. Glad you are doing it the right way.

Allan

Hey! Wait a darned minute.

I sense some line jumpin' goin' on around here.

I thought I made it more than obvious that I should be considered as his number 1 new "best friend" and that the monster contraption should be on it's way headed into the never, never land of Nebraska within the next few days. :>)

Harley, if you want trees, I gots trees for ya. Some of 'em are even on level (read: 15% grade) too. :>)

Just bought a tanker of JetA today. 6,000 gal. Been a high expendature day. Got my airplane in TX with a jug offen her. You never been over a barrel unless you've got an airplane broken down at a distant airport. Looks like a valve stuck

Slo, when I went to Nam, my old daddy said "Son no matter how bad you think you got it, just look around and you can see someone who has it worse". Now I've found that to be more than true, so in your case there is a lot worse place to be with a bad motor in a areoplane. Can you guess or do you need a little hint? ( Up, Up and awaya) Harley
