Does any one know if there is a International/Havester dealer in Ontario, Canada? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Just recently bought a Loboy 185 and cant get it running! Where is the starter?
Also any info on figuring out how old is my tractor.

there's a couple of dealers around HUB Equipment has two locations in your area, one in Port Perry the other (and better of the two) in Lindsey.

The best by far though is B. Larkin Equipment in Peterborough, that's where me and my neighbours go as the old fella who looks after parts actually seems to remember old IH equipment.

Good luck

The starter is also the generator on the 154 and 184.

You need to post the SN of the tractor and someone
can probably determine the year.

Follow your battery cables, one goes to ground and the other to the starter. Some tractor's have the ground on the starter too and the other
cable may connect to a solenoid on the starter.
That is where battery voltage is supplied to your
starter. Will the engine crank using the starter? The battery may need charging or replaced. Hal

You are best off to deal with Richards in Stouffville, Ontario if you are from Lakefield. They do a lot of work with older IH stuff and specialize a bit in old IH parts. Another dealer you could deal with is HUB in Lindsay and Brooklin. They are an old line dealer also but I don't know much about them.
