Are the belly pumps on the M and the H the same? I'm wondering because I'd like to make a dipstick for my M. My neighbor has an H and if they are the same, I could use his for a model.

Drain oil pour in 5 quarts check and mark stick quart low pour in one more quart and mark stick full. Like others said it is not that critical but if it is too low it will starve pump and if it is way overfilled it will overflow at fill cao vent.

no, I don't think they are the same but they will work. the level isn't that fussy. I find dipsticks in old SP combines and they work too. And the original dipsticks have been lost and replaced until who knows which one is "correct" Your neighbor might even have an M dipstick in his H
