Other than the rims what other parts are not red? Was the radiator red or black?

Per Guy Fays Originalty Guide:
Parts to be masked off;All electrical TERMINALS AND SCREWS NOT ASSEMLBLED,Chassis serial number plate as well as name plates on starter and gen.,Glass face on gauges and lights, fuel strainer galss bowl, seat cushion, steering wheel grip, resistor onunderside of volt. reg.(So yes, paint the shroud red.)
Added after paint Tire,battery,muffler,and decals!

Now,me personally,I paint my starters, generators, and sometimes the shround black.I mak off the gearshift, unless its steel. But like mentioned,it YOURS,do it the way you think it looks best!

Scootch, The obvious things like the rim of the steering wheel, head/tail light lenses and mufflers were not painted red. Most of the original radiators were at least misted with red overspray as they were not masked off but were installed on the tractors as they came through the paint shop. Other items like starters, generators distributor caps, coil caps, primary wires & spark plugs are sometimes not painted red. It's your tractor so paint the things red that you'd like red. No matter what you do, someone, somewhere will have a comment about it no matter what you do. At least we who like the red ones aren't as PC as those who covet some of the other colors.
