I have an F cub with a serial number of 162222J, I am trying to determine which model F this is. It has a belly mower on it. Runs great and is a blast to mow with. THe younger kids in the neighborhood love it as well.

As was stated before, Yours is not a (F Cub) as there never was such a thing. The F series ended in 39/40. The Cub was first built in 47 so there are 7 years at least difference betwseen the last F series tractor and the first Cub. Incidently, during the F series run, IHC never made a tractor as small as the Cub in HP, or anything else for that matter. The Cub was a new departure for IHC for a smaller tractor then the F-12 had been back in the 30s. Hope that helps. The F-12 of the 30s could pull a 1 14, or a 1 16 , the latter on very flat ground. The Cub does good nto pull a 1 10 anywhere. Mine has a fight pulling a 2 section harrow on plowed and disced ground, and the funny thing is, the side that spins most, is the right side, the side you sit on. Go figgure
