I HAVE TRIED THIS BEFORE, WITH NO REPLY'S. But I must try again. Any manuals/ or advise, comments related to the I-30. It is a running tractor, but I would like to hear from anyone with manual, Data, or parts tractor etc. Thanks for anything that may surface. Dave NE IA

The I-30 is the industrial version of the W-30. Same engine and drive train, with different wheels, seats, transmissions, etc., to give better use under factory operations. Engine parts will be the same as F-30s and W-30s. Not the most rare of tractors, but still hard to find a good one as so many of them are gone. What else would you like to know?

For starters, they have a 284 CU in engine with 4.25" bore/5" stroke. First I-30 was serial # IB-512 produced May 12, 1932. They came with an E4A mag, rated at 1,150 RPM, 11 gal radiator and 23 gal gas tank. pProduced 35 hp on the belt/pto. Industrials weren"t included in the Nebraska tests. They finished production in 1940 with the highest serial number of 5468.

Manuals are available from Binder Books dot com.

Where in NE IA are you? I grew up north of Riceville.

Thanks everybody, The manual is perhaps the first on the want list. I live in Garnavillo, 10 miles from the Mississippi, 10 miles North of Guttenberg, 20 min. from Prarie Du Chien Wisc. I would like to find the original front soild rubber tires. Mine has a cable wind loader on it, With the bucket down, Iowa is not big enough to turn her around. The loader will lift anything the rear wheels can hold down. I have a F-30 & W-30 as well, and no two manifolds are the same. Thanks again guys, you are a pretty good crownd to hang with. Dave NE IA

Yes, the exhaust portion of the manifold is unique to the I-30, so hopefully it is good. The exhaust exits at a 90 Degree turn to the rear, unlike the W and F-30s which goes straight out the top. The parts manuals are often times found on Ebay. They seem pretty easy to find. Solid rubber for the front could be hard to find.
