thinning IH red paint

does anyone have or know of a good mixture for
mixing IH red paint with thinner to get a good
viscosity for spraying ?

I use the Case IH thinner at the maximum recommended reduction of 8:1, paint to thinner. I use a Devilbiss JGA cup gun at about 45 psi and it flows out like glass. I did the same with my old Craftsman gun with same results. Fiddle with the air on a piece of scrap till you get it right and always paint when the atmospheric pressure is high. Don't ask me why but it makes a difference.

About 3/4 paint and 1/4 i h thinner .
