This information is out of my H IHC Service manual:Crankcase oil pan 6 qts. --- Trans. and differential case:6 gal. 80w; 90wt; 140w...the 140 is usually used in extreamly hot climate...heavy loads.

I use Hytran in belly pump(30WT non detergent can be used and was what was originally used in the belly pumps). Think it holds about 6 quarts, but dont hold me to it. The transmission I run straight 90 WT gear oil(can run 80-90wt or 140wt) If you have bad seals probally want to go with heavier gear oil. I dont have my manual but 24 Quarts rings a bell for the transmission. Hope this helped.
