My son had Grandpas 38 F-20, and my brother had replaced the head with on from an earlier F. The head he put on didn,t have the holes for the fan mount, so he made one out of flat steel to mount the fan on. Works great. I don,t have any pictures of it right now, but could get some for you.

Could be. The later F-20s had three holes cast and tapped into the head for the fan mounts, the true Regular's head is smooth cast to the front.
