My dad had a Farmall F-12 with 40 inch rears. He mentioned that these rears had cast centers but I can't find any info on them. Was there a cast rear option for 40 inch rears?

I have a set of cut-off 40" tires that came off of a F-12. I don"t remember the size, I just know they were 40" tires, with the old style tread pattern. They held are when I got the tractor, about 40% tread and weather checked.

They are EXPENSIVE! There is a used set right now on E-bay do a search under F-12 tractor or F12 tractor I don't remember which, or go to Miller tire for new prices.

Yes Leroy, there are cast centers for the F 12's.I aquired a set this last weekend along with one of the 40 inch rims. From what I can see in my parts book, pneumatic tire for the F 12 were 40 inch wheels, they were some with locking rings. There are some 36 inch ,although there were some 40 inch wheels that have the round spokes. The cast wheels were 40 inch but I can't find out how much one weighs, this much I do know is that they are heavy.

Is it possible to send me a picture at lep@epix.net?

Also are these hard to find?

My father just passed away and thinking on finding a F-12 with the option or finding a set to place on a tractor.

So they weren"t fully closed in but had openings? From dad"s description they were a disk with no openings.
