I also just acquired a Super A with belly mounted sickle mower. Tractor runs fine but some of the lifting linkage is missing. Does anyone have photos of this set up? I can fabricate the missing lift link if I know where it attached on the mower.

I have never heard a dumb question or seen one on this board yet! However, in my lifetime I have seen several dumb things happen because someone was afraid to ask a question they thought was dumb. It is faster, cheaper, and more intelligent to ask for information than it is to have to fix something ruined because of a lack of knowledge.

There are 2 petcocks on the left side of the oil pan. Check by opening to see if oil drains out. If no oil at lower one, you need to add oil. The oil level should be maintained between the petcocks.
