The pto worked fine before I removed the shifter lever to replaced the seal around it, I put it back in and it won't disengage, I pulled it back out looked inside the housing and could see a shaft with a collar on it, that it looks like where it suppose to fit into, so i tried taking a pry bar and tried moving it and I can't get it to move, the Pto runs constantly now. any suggestions? thanks

That collar on the shaft has a groove around it. The pin on the shift lever runs in the groove. Slide the collar toward the back of the tractor to disengauge. (It may have slid to far ahead and be jammed a little bit.)

thanks for the advice parts man. I thinks its slid to far up on the shaft and is jammed, but I'll get a bigger pry bar and keep trying, At least now I know i'm going in the right direction.
