pto disconnect

would any of you have a pto disconnect assembly for a 400 ...plate, pin, dog ears everything) long story short, it must have broke and they held the cupler tight with a hose clamp??? have a lot of metal on the pan and clamp is 1/2 gone. I hope thats all it is.

Assuming it is the same as my SMTA, I don't think the parts are available from IH anymore, you may be lucky enough to find a used one but it will probably fail before too long. When mine broke I went to a solid coupler they are available not sure if through IH but after market. Either way ya gotta split it to fix it.

I did find one in a yard.. but you should just be able to pull the pto off and slide the shaft back enough to put the solid in..... I will probably see if I can beef it up a bit so it doesnt break.. the shaft will not be use but a dozen times for manure.
