I have heard of some Farmall Regulars with red drawbars, I think they did this because they were made in the same part of the factory as the wheels. Fans and belt pulleys were never painted red. The red drawbars were only on certain years of Regulars, none of the F-series.

I have a '27 Regular with a Gray pulley on it. I won't swear to it's originality on the tractor, but the paint was buried under close to an inch of old grease, oil and dirt.

Go to: www.wisconsinhistory.org/libraryarchives/ihc/paint/
There you will find copies of the letters of the "Paint Committee"
I believe the drawbar was gray until 1930 and that the wheels have always been red. Check this site to comfirm this.
