flat roller chain

I found a store that carries not only flat sprocket chain, but many other parts for red tractors. Texels Inc. in Wahoo, Nebraska. Phone number is 402-443-3482. He stocks many obsolete IH and aftermarket parts. He said the newest parts he stock are for early 70's tractors and implements. Texels was an IH dealer from 1927 to some time in the late 80's to early 90's. Keith Texel still runs the parts shop. He also sells toy tractors and has many in stock. Yes, flat chain has it's own and different sizes; not to be confused with roller chain. Different bird entirely.

I'm wondering if maybe the yards might still have a lot of that old stuff lying about?

Any dealer that has been around for a number of years ought to still have it in stock back in a dark room somewhere. :>)

Heck, I'll bet Cowman has some of that stuff laying around. He'll need to know your size tho.
