I just picked up a tilt-bed single axle dual wheeled inplement trailer. I intend to use it to haul one of my H's or my 300 around, and I need to know how much they weigh in order to get a proper license.

The trailer needs a new bed, one wheel and 4 tires . . . plus a fair amount of welding and some paint. Cost me $100.00, but it should be worth 10 - 20 times that when I get her fixed up!

Thanks, Tex

H should weigh about 3200 by its self with no weights or fluid in the tires

I assure you, you will not be happy with that much weight on a single axle trailer. Sell it and get a tandem azle.

By the time you get it all fixed up you will have spent enough money to have gone out and bought a brand new tandem axle trailer, and your single axle trailer will not be near as easy to pull as the tandem. I know you didn't want to hear that, but it's the truth.

The H without any wheel weights or fluid in tires will weigh around 4000- 4500 lbs. The 300 Farmall row crop the same way will weigh 5500-6000. If the 300 has fast hitch or any additional ballast weight could be a bit more. It could be a little tricky getting those tractors balanced on a single axle trailer without getting some whip on the tongue. Careful now. Migraine
