Hi folks. Here are the pic"s of the SMTA factory authorized LP WFE, I was posting about last week. We finally got it home, after all the rain/mud here in N. Texas. It is pretty humble, and I am not sure what to do with it. I saved it from the metal scrap guys and the torch. Paid more for it than I should have (I guess I sounded to anxious to buy it). Any ideas? Motor stuck, has cut off front end loader, TA disconnected, sheet metal below average, has remote hydraulics(Energy Corp.) for the loader, pre-cleaner no jar, one decent tire on right rear, WFE in great shape, LPTO, draw bar. If it is not restorable, I guess I would part it out, but I would want the WFE for my 300LP, or my Super M. Please let me hear your thoughts. Have not added up everthing yet to see what I have in it. I have not figured out how to post pictures, any help! would be appreciated.

Hate a hard to find/rare tractor get stripped down for parts. Obviously you are going to Heaven for saving the old girl from the cutting torch :) . Maybe someone that is willing to spend the time and money would buy it from you. Everyone would be happy then. They are always worth rebuilding, it's just the time and money you want to invest in the old girls. My 2 cents.

I have it listed on the Yt photo ad site. Since I have listed it this morning, I have had 18 emails and 12 folks have left a message for me to call them. I am really glad I was able to save it. Someone who appreciates it will own it.

I am going to list it complete in the photo ads, for best offer. If I can't sell it that way, then I will have to part it out. That would be a shame, but I need to get money back into my tractor rescue fund. Have more to rescue around here! Thanks to everyone's help, and input.

Hey John. I thought you might have sleeped in! I will do my best. Unfortunately my tractor rescue fund is dwindling. I have bought a LOT of tractors from the scrap metal guys. I have moved some of them, but not all. It just drives me crazy to see so many being cut up.

Search the archives at the top of the page for info on how to post pictures.
LP tractor engines seem to stick easily due to the "dry" fuel they use. I 've dealt with two stuck motors; one freed up with just a soaking and now runs perfect, the other needed a topend rebuild due to heavy rust. The rusted one was due to sitting outside for several years with no rain cap.
This one sounds like a good long term project if you have the ambition.

Hi Glen. Yes, it is a VAC with the wide front end. Great running little tractor with Eagle hitch. Real nice sheet metal I use it quite a bit. Email me for more info.
