I was just looking at a farmall A. On the decal it said Culti-vater just above the "A" in the decal circle. I think, it was a little hard to read. There is a lever that went from the steering collum forward, Then up and disappeared near the exaust manafold. It doesn't seem to do much, just alters the idle speed a little bit. Can anyone tell me what this is used for? Can it be taken off?

If the pneumatic lift lever can alter the idle, the pressure valve must be working (at least partly). Those are getting hard to find.

That lever is the control lever for the exhaust lift that was a method of lifting implemenys using the exhaust pressure. The decals say CULTIVISION was a trademark.

That decal should say "Cultivision" I believe.
That lever sounds like the governor control. If it doesn't do anything, something must be out of adjustment.
