Attached is a photo of a Farmall A Drawbar.
I feel like a incredible idiot because I cannot figure out how this hooks up to the rear of my tractor!!!! I worked for an hour trying to figure out how the hooks attach to the bolts and cannot get it to work. If anyone has any information they can share on how to hook this up I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
MattMO

MattMO. If you are using this on an "A" I think all you have to do is unbolt the two brackets and then just bolt the draw bar up. Morgan

Matt, Im pretty sure those are the Super A brackets. Thats what I have in my Super A, and my A just has holes through the brackets, and you use bolts instead of those big nuts to tightern it up!

Matt

Just back off the corresponding 2 nuts on each rear housing on your tractor, slip the rear hook on the drawbar over the rear nut, slide the drawbar up to fit behind the other 2 nuts and tighten them all.

I have opened my email, If you need more, I can take a close up picture of my Super A with drawbar in place and email it to you.

Robbie

Robbie6,
Thanks for the response. I tried to hook this sucker up just the way you described but the bolts on the tractor are closer together than the hook holes on the drawbar bracket (they are off by about 1/2"). If you have a photo available I sure would apprectiate looking at it. I'm starting to think that maybe I was sold the brackets for a Super A and they are different than the regular A brackets.

Again Thanks,
MattMO
