I have a chance to buy a live pump for my H. It is a cast iron pump with a vertical IH distributor. What should I offer for it. It works good.

This pump is made by M&W and doesn't require a different timing cover. It replaces the distributor with the pump and a vertical distributor. It uses the belly pump for the oil supply and comes with the hoses and control. I bought it.No Dick, no corn planted yet. Thanks everyone for your reply.

I put a live pump on my M last summer and the price of the pump is just the tip of the iceburg. Hyd. hoses and brass swivels will eat you up. I added the live pump, 2 spool valves, 1 for 3 point and 1 for loader, added Hyd trip for the loader. Mounted the resivoir on the axle. I added a power divider for the power steering. I have over $2000 invested, but it sure is sweet to work with.

Non of it will do you any good if you don't get the reservor which has the control valves, that goes under the gas tank with it. Then you will also need the seat and under seat battery box.

GOOD LUCK

You may also need the front timing gear cover and the steel plate that it bolt to. I have a pump for my H, but I need to change the front covers to get it to fit. The cover from a Super H or 300 will fit. ken
