Maybe just maybe. I will get that 300 running this weekend. Only a few more things to do.
Finnish wireing in that 12 volt alt.
Put new plugs in.
Get the dist back together.
Change the hydralic fluid.
Rear end fluid.
Put the rear pto unit back together. It was not broke after all.
Coolant.
Battery.
Then Varooom!!!!!

Funny thing, I am under the 300 bolting up one of the plates under the clutch housing. Snif snif snif. PEW what the heck is that smell. I lifted my arm and that was ok. I was going to go check my pants, Thought I over tightened a bolt and maybe that fart was not. Then I remembered I had left some quick dry on the floor under the rear where the pto unit goes. Dang cats found it and was using it as a cat box. Grrrrr r I hate cats.

Good Luck! Got to love the time when the wifes away and the cat can play. No pun intended. Funny thing, I just finished cleaning out the litter box. My wife has a new orange tabby, guess what I call it. "ALLIS"
Keep us updated on your progress, may the force be with you!
I"m going back to work on the 300u.
