'Mornin' Guys,
Does anyone know if there's a gardening board kinda like this one somewhere? El Toro, I noticed that you're a gardener.
Thanks.
GT

Try www.backyardgardener.com, I have a book on gardening that I received from the Gardenway Company that made the Troy-Bilt tillers. That book is called the "Joy of Gardening" and tells you how to plant and raise all vegetables. We always planted everything in a single row, after I
received this book I plant small veg crops in double rows. This book may still available, you can contact them at 1-800-520-5520 or 1-800-269-6215. I always had a problem with sweetcorn to spout until someone said to soak the seeds in
liquid fertilizer and then plant them. Then pour the liquid into the row with the seed, never had anymore sprouting problems. Hal

There may be a gardening board, I'll look on the internet and post any info. Our parents had a big garden when I was growing up. They raised just about everything we ate. They had us in the garden when we big enough to hold a garden hoe.
They only went to the store once a week or every 2 weeks. Seems like we go about everyday. We used a mule or a horse to the cultivator. I liked the mule best since she wouldn't eat the sweet corn. When I was going with my wife, I wouldn't get in until the early hours of the morning. My dad said, I don't care how late you stay out, you still have those cows to milk. If one of those cows smack you with her tail you would wake up in a hurry. Hal

You will probably find something like you are looking for at GardenWeb. From the main page, click on GardenWeb Forums, then select from a large list of topics.

I went there for advise before I transplanted the killer Crepe Myrtle a couple years ago.
