656 injector ? removal

Do you have to remove the plate with 2 bolts and glow plug or do you just screw the injector out.Thank you for your help.I do appreciate it.

TWL you have to remove to whole thing or you can't test it.

When I rebuilt mine I took the two bolts out and took the whole thing to the rebuilder,they checked them and I got them back with new copper rings.

Make sure you get the copper washer out of the inj. hole if it does not come out with the inj. If it is anything like a 1066 make sure the inj. sleeve doesn"t come out with the inj. if it does, stop and drain the coolant.
