Have inherited an 49 M it was running last year, but where I parked it the cows pulled off the wires. I ordered a manual but would like to see if it will start now. So what is the firing order and how do I tell where to put the wires on the distibutor?

On the motor the front plug toward the Radiator is # 1 Next back #2 next back #3 and so on on the dist cap #1 Should be around the 1:00 to 2:00 position then clockwise it should be 1,3,4,2 on the cap JON

I am sorry I could not go back and fix that post the fireing order is 1 3 4 2 for the dist cap and the motor. But the cylinders in the motor go 1234 from front to back does this make since? JON
