Fancy me asking about corn....
I have a corn stove. I just purchased 260 bushels of corn. I have it in a gravity box right now but need to give that back to the owner soon.
Do you think I will be able to find some kind of metal bin in the 300 bushel range?
Or maybe I should just buy my own gravity box to keep it in? Dont know, what do you think?

My dad can sell ya a big westeel rosco, that way you don't have to buy any corn for awile. or he can sell ya a nice little steel or poly tank, that will unload right into your shed! Once and awile them little tanks are at auctions, or a old farmer has some.

You will be better off with a woden type as sun shinning on a metal building can cause moisture problems. In the spring remember seed wants to grow.

Maybe you can find a used feed bulk bin to store it in sometimes they have a small unloading augur to get the corn out.

I also have a corn stove and keep my corn in a gravity wagon. I am going to haul it to elevator when heating season ends. Corn attracts mice so it wouldn't keep in a shed. I figure new crop corn will be reasonable price and corn can crust, go out of condition etc and get weevils. It is much simpler to get new crop in the fall then to have mice or bugs get in it.
