Can I use the rubber tire covering wheel on an IH 56 planter in rocky soil. Original wheel was steel.

The rubber packer wheel "tires" fit on the same steel wheel. Get the correct size, grease them, and they slip on over the steel packer wheel. The inside of the "tire" is contoured the same as the steel wheel to hold it in place.

P. S. I've never run a planter in rocky based soil but I would think the rubber tire would be better than the steel wheel.
