Noisy belly pump

We have a belly pump on our 1941 Farmall M. Recently
it has become quite noisy. On Saturday I lifted a pretty good load. Now it seems to make a squealing noise as I try to lift with it.

Could it be that the drive gear is slipping on the drive shaft or is it keyed?

Would appreciate any help or advice anyone can give.

The driven gear in the pump and the shaft are all one piece. The coupling that does the driving is screwed onto the end of the shaft. So I don't expect anything would be slipping there. The pump drives from the counter shaft of the transmission and the coupling on that is also screwed on. So, it must be something problem inside the pump.

Thanks a lot for the response. I have an IT manual that gives the parts of the pump but was not able to determine whether the gear and shaft were one piece.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Perhaps the noises I have been hearing are produced by the valves in the pump.
Evidently about all I can do us use it and hope that it continues to serve me.

I have a Farmhand loader and it has been doing a pretty good job for me. I use it to pile brush, load posts and firewood move dirt and the like. It also comes in real handy for fence building.

Thanks again.
