As some of you know, my bro and i had a towing accident, cracked the block on are A, so we bought another a for $700 CDN, it had a brand new engine in it. So we just switched the engine and axel. So know we have a A with a cracked block. What would this tractor be worth? It has good tires and rims all around, good tin, bad engine, not sure about the tranny, but still alot of salvagable parts. Whats she worth? I know we won't get the 700 out of er. $400-$500??? CANADIAN THAT IS>

Hey Farmallkid, Why don't you hold on to it, you never know what parts you may need in the future. Easier to hold on to them to look for spare parts in the future. Just my two cents. Dave

Just give it to me..... I"ll take care of it. I might store it at Grandma"s for a while till i sell my Cockshutt 70 and then use the money to fix that. Think about it. You can never have too many tractors. My parents would rather have me spend my money on an antique tractor that costs, lets say, 2500$ than wast my money on drugs, smokes, etc....i agree. There"s my excuse to buy another tractor. Maybe people with a not so tractor lovin" wife could use this excuse also?????

Do you want another one? I have a Super A with a cracked block that I am reducing to parts (using a lot myself to repair another tractor!). I guess I will put an ad in the "Classified section" to let people know that I have some parts.

Can this block be welded?? I would think there are A motors lying around that could help rebuild this tractor so it should have some value. Did you try Steve at Ontario Used Tractor Parts? I'm guessing he would have a good block...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Not sure if it could be welded. Really don't need the tractor, so if someone want's it then i could give them steve's #. Got a guy lookin at it. Want it out of the barn cause there is a 4 comin!
