Jeff: I truly hope your right, this winter thing has happened long enough. I must admit though, that is a nice winter scene. We've had a lot of those mornings down here this winter. Since Lake Huron opened up a bit fog came with them. Time to put the snow blade away, get the mower blade out, though.

Hugh, Are you getting ready to mow some snow? we finally got the snow melted down to the point to where we could spread some pot ash, but then got an inch or so yesterday, and it is snowing now as I type. This has been a long Winter here in Freeland, and the rest of Mid-Michigan.

Paul: Mow some snow, now there is an interesting senario. I didn't even bother to plow the last two snow falls. Just plowed through it with the Buick Lesabre. Now I was thinking of going to shop today, starting all three tractors for a little warm up and battery exercise. When I put them away I will put 130 with snow blade at back and leave Super A with belly mower in the doorway. Just to show old man winter, he's had his day.

Then I get an e mail from Josette up in MN on Fri. suggesting that foot to 18" snow they got was being sent across Lake Michigan, Michigan, Lake Huron and into SW Ontario. I am convinced you guys in Mid Michigan will hold it at bay. This, " snowing as I type" statment does not bode well for my belief. However I am counting on you. So far we've just seen rain overnight.
