The engine I have needs a complete re-build and the crank has worn splines on the front where the pully/dampner goes.

I have tried that perkins site and didn't find it very helpful.

Did you have a machine shop to look at that
loose spline to see if anything could be done to
it? Some other tractors used Perkins engines, I just can not remember which tractors. Someone
that posts on here may know. Hal
