Might be able to get hold of one these in wide front. Tractor runs but needs much general work--lots of jury-rigging. Haven't seen any pictures of it so I can't describe it in much detail. Does anyone have a ballpark figure of what this one is worth? Anyone have any pictures of what this model looks like? And is this model one of those to stay away from--"oddball", "stepchild machine" or "lemon"? Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom....and a good weekend to all.

Hi, we have owned a B414D and its successors 434D and 384D. Good realiable tractor. Must keep glow plugs and battery in top shape to start in cold weather. A block or recirculating heater is required for starting below -10F.

Disk brakes require periodic servicing. Be careful changing oil filters that you remove the old "O" ring and replace with proper new one or filter holder will warp and leak.

Good luck

Thanks to all who replied--was out of town and just got back to checking message traffic. I'll take a look at the tractor photo and see what they look like. I might go ahead and buy this one if the price is right. Right now the only thing I really know is that it runs.
