Feeding cows yesterday and got off to cut the twines on a bale. The cows pushed on the bale and started it rolling so I backed up a step or two to get out of the way and backed into the teeth on the loader bucket. Man those teeth are hard! I'm too old for this kind of abuse. Be careful guys, those cows will kill us yet!

glad you're ok. mighty easy to get hurt on a farm. Even our sheep can knock you down in their hurry to get to the hay or grain.

With my luck I'd probably have the loader about head level when I bumped into it! Guess that's the hardest part on me though..... ;)

Maybe you should check the hay, sounds as though you gave them a flavor they were not real happy with and they were trying to put it back on loader. They must have wanted something a little fresher.
Seriously, glad you did not get hurt, we all kind of take things/safety for granted.

A Lady was in the antique shop yesterday telling me about her husband in the hospital. He was out feeding cows hay with a tractor and old F10 Farmhand loader...when one of the cable pulleys snapped off, and caught him across the top of his head. Ouch!

Ya well, we had a sick one out in the pasture and the little missus, all 125 lbs of her decided that poor old bossy would do better with a pan of feed and a bucket of water. Now all "wild critters" just want to be left alone when they're hurting, but NOOOOO O. I don't know nothing, huh. About 15 minutes later, she comes back to the house, all scraped up, jacket torn from scrambling under the barbed wire fence, got the 357 and stalked back out to the pasture stating"That B1tch is goin down. She did too. Made a believer out of me. She says jump now, and I ask how high on the way up. Harley
