What is the smallest Farmall tractor that can actually lift itself off the ground with it's own hydraulics? Thanks Ramon

i believe all the farmalls equiped with liftall could lift themselves.
only takes 15 lbs of air in the tires so i would guess it should take alot of pressure to lift the tractor, that is at 1 to 1.

Hydrolic pressure being equal, you should be interested in the largest tractor (i.e. the most force) that can be lifted. I assume you are talking about the 2 point fast hitch.

Do you know what the hydraulics are rated at lifting. I assume the 200 weighs around 3500 to 4000 lbs so is it lifting 1/2 that (1750-2000 lbs)? If so, that's awesome. I have a 100 and I probably max out at 700-800 lbs. Ramon

Ramon, I have a 1960 140 its only a few years newer than your 100. With rear wheel weights on it and me weighing @280 its got to weght @3500 lbs. and the fast hitch will pick the year tires on the ground with no trouble. Dave

Well, the owners manual for my Farmall 200 describes putting a block under the 2pt hitch to lift a rear wheel. I"ve tried it, and it can lift BOTH rear wheels off the ground. Likewise, if you put too big an impliment on the rear, you can lift the front wheels off the ground. Can"t tell if there"s a smaller tractor in the Farmall line that will do this but the 200 (and I would assume the Super C) will.

Hello Ray! Haven't seen you around much! I went to an auction today in Ovid and realized when I got home it was just outside St John. Isn't that your neck of the woods? Pretty countryside. Picked up a trailer plow and spent the whole afternoon trying to get it home. Wasn't what I came to get and I had too small a trailer with me.
