i bought a 340 desiel international recently. fluid was leaking from the outer center wheel. the cap was a little loose so i took it off and permatexed it and bolted back on. today i noticed quite a bit of fluid on the groung and it was coming from the axle housing. i figuire a bad seal. is that a difficult back breaking job? do i just take the tire off and unbolt the 4 bolts on the outer axle housing and the shaft will come out or what? any helpful info will be greatly aprreciated. also the tractor is a little hard to start.i have to hold the glow plug button in for a while and keep holding it in for a while after it starts till its stops sputtering. even after the tractor has run for awhile and you kill it and try to restart i have to hold the button in. is there anything i can do to make it start easier without useing ether.thanks hank

Hank,

Are you advancing the timing in the winter time? Makes a heck of a difference in the way they start.
