Are all three numbers suppose to match on the regular? I have what I thought to be an original, but the rail and the tool box numbers match but the block doesn't. Could the block had it's own number from the factory? I guess if not it could have been changed some where in time. But what gets me is that is only a few numbers apart. It would be hard to believe after many years to have changed the block and find one that close. Thanks for any input.

I don't know about the Regular, but of all the F-20's I have, all three numbers match perfectly.

My 1929 Regular block is unreadable, and the tag is gone, so I am just going by the rail number on that one.

like the others said, sometimes they will match but not always. as long as the engine number is close you can figure it is original.

I asked the same question about a month ago and Guy Fay replied that the rail and tag should match and as Sloroll said the block will be close. Of the 2 I'm working with, the blocks are within 50#'s of the rail. Kevin

No they don't have to match. They will be close though.
