Have a couple of Super As. Wondering what kind of Implements were powered by the PTO. Seems like the high angle of the unit would not let an implement such as a 5 ft mower to be used. So just what was the PTO used to power? Can they use implements such as you would use with say a Ford 8N? Thanks for any info.

Local truck farm used their Super A and Super AV and 140 for cultivating, spraying, and pulling wagons in the field during harvest. The sprayer ran off the PTO

Hi Jonn, The sicklebar mower was very popular to have on those tractors, I have one for mine and it works great. Also the rear mounted cordwood saw attachment that runs off of the belt pulley was pretty popular also. I think the tractor is more noted for its cultivating capabilities than its PTO work. Im sure there were others, that the other guys will add in.
