I was told the relief valve was under the seat on the aux. valve body. There is a plug on top, I removed it but there was no spring or valve in it just had hydraulic oil, threads and what look like a slot cut out for oil to pass. Its that it and missing the spring and valve or am I in the wrong location?

John The relief valve is in the right hand set suport on the out side it is a hex head the 706 will have 2 hex heads there but the relief should have the PIS stamp on it, It is a one piece non repairable part.

the relief should be on the right side below the seat, flat hex head with numbers on the flat designating the psi setting. the relief is a cartrigde and and non-adjustable so their wouldn't be a plug in/on the hex head. to change psi, you install a different cartridge.
