Did IH ever make one? Would like to put on a side mounted mower so I can presumably still use the drawbar. Am considering an AC tractor setup but I like the IH Hydraulic better for this application.

I bought my C Farmall from grandpa and it had under it a belly mount sickle mower with approximately a 7 foot sickle it was powered off of the PTO with a pulley that locked onto the PTO shaft I don't know too much about it since it has been years since I have seen it

Tom, I have a copy of Charles Cook's book which is a collection of 100+ pages of C and Super C advertising of the late 40's and early 50's. I looked through it and never did see any mention or picture of a mid side mounted sickle mower. The only ones shown were mounted on the back either dirctly to the tractor or a fast hitch model. We had a 7-ft sickle bar mower for an H Farmall and a family that I know has a Cub with a sickle
bar. I would think IH made a mower for the Super C too. It may have had the fasthitch hookup for the tractors that had the fasthitch. Some of these Super C owners would know for sure. I had a Super C, but it came with a 2-bottom moldboard plow. Hal
