Does anyone know how many 806 LPG Hydrostatic tractors were produced? Any idea on the value of one that is running in fair condition? Thanks for the help.

Glen

I'll drive out and look at the serial number tag on the tractor ASAP, I hope it has one. Any ideas as to the value? Thanks,
Glen

I would say the 826 Hydro would be the most similar match to the gear driven 806.

There was never a 806 hydrostatic drive tractor.

Hi Harold,
I have not seen the tractor, I'm going by what the farmer is telling me. What model tractor is the size of a 806 and has the hydrostatic system?
Thanks,
Glen

I believe IH made a Hydro 80 and a Hydro 100 at some point.

Hi Tx,

They built a 70, 84, 86, & the 100.

But, I they also had the hydros in tractors early on without giving them their own designation.

Like the 656 Hydro and the 1066 Hydro, for example.

Hi Glen,

Could it be a 856? I don't remember those Hydros showing up before the 56 series.

I looked at a 826 Hydro the other day in Saint Cloud. They wanted $7800 and said the hydro was weak.
I said " SO let me get this strait, Your gona pay me $7800 to take the 826 off your hands... Right?"
Heck I could buy 3 tractors for what it would cost just to fix a hyro.

There was also the 544 Hydro, but that's smaller than an 806. (Side question: Is the 544 the smallest IH tractor to have the Hydro option?)
