Hey Kelly - I'm still drooling on your 460.

I was curious, what's the story with the set-up in the bucket on this pic? Is it some kind of homemade forklift? Whats the purpose of the turn buckles?

I see another 460 on there going for over $4k that doesn't sound any better than yours. I'm surprised you haven't gotten an opening bid yet.

Good Luck!

Those are fork lift arm that attach to the bucket with chains. Great for lighter stuff maybe 500 pounds or so.
I saw that one too. It started with a low bid, I think people just get into adding a little at a time and then cant stop. I would be slippin in my jeans if I had gotten that.
Maybe I dont lie enough?
There are about 15 guys mulling the buy it now for it.
If not no big deal to me. I will just keep it and find another way to get my 706.

Now isn't that crafty.

Yea - I know. Those guys, like me, think that the buy it now price is reasonable, however, they want to see if they can get it cheaper, so they'll wait. They'll wait long enough that someone will start the bidding and erase the 'buy it now'. A half a day later they are paying more than the original buy it now price and they will feel good about it. Same story, different auction, lol.

I got one guy right now that may take it if I redo the TA and clutch. He would pay for the parts. I maybe up for that. Maybe... That could get sticky with the wrong person. If I would have had the cash I would have redone those anyway.

Kelly,

Totally none of my business, but I think I'd yank 'er off the market, repair the T/A then try it again.

That slippin' T/A is killing your auction, IMHO.

Allan

Well if it sells for my reserve then I am ok with that. If they buy for my asking price then pay for the parts its still the same.
Just cant put any more of my money in it.
Thing is, if I split it then redo the TA. I am not gona want to sell it any more. Just like my 400 as soon as you have carnal knowledge you get sort of attached to her.
Oh Oh some one will have fun disecting that statement.
