I purchased a Super C with Fast Hitch recently. The Fast Hitch speed is relatively quick when raising, but lowers very slow. Is there a particular reason for that. Is there an adjustment that can be made or is the nature of that model? Also, is there different gears available, aftermarket or otherwise that I could install to slow it down in first gear? It is a great tractor I would just like to tweek it a little for my use. Thanks, Neil

The speed of your hydraulics is a fairly common problem. You might try new fluid, but the touch control block or reservoir probably needs to be overhauled. I know of no way to decrease the ground speed. H's and M's had a low first available, and the Super A had what is called a hydra-creeper, but I don't believe either was available for the C, at least it's not in my manuals.

Hydra-Creeper was available for the C etc. as well. Good luck finding one.
