Our Club has just put the finishing touches on our (now annual!) raffle tractor. We find a unit in decent condition, go through it mechanically and spiff it up with a good paint job. The proceeds are used to support the local fair's junior livestock sale and also funds a scholarship. This was my first raffle project. Lotta time involved, but lotta fun had!

I checked with our Vice President and handler-of-most-affairs this afternoon. Out-of-state ticket sales are good to go. He told me he's sent some to Canada in the past.

E-mail me for instructions.

Thanks for the compliments. I will direct the gentlemen who have far more time in it than I have to this site for the kudos.

The implement holes were filled with cork--just like the factory did.

Seriously, I hadn't really thought about the posting of our project generating long-distance interest in buying a raffle ticket. I don't see a problem with that, but let me check with our Club's VP first.

E-mail me for information. Thanks again.

Congradulations on a job well done by all of you! Beautiful!
Two questions. What year is she, and what did you guys use to fill the implement mounting holes in the torque tube before painting.
Garett

I'd love to have a chance at that one, and the cause is undeniably worthwhile. Are you near minnesota??

Joe, Congratulations to you and your Club for a job well done. I hope folks here appreciate the fact that funds for club projects arent quite as forthcomming and often more limited than when restoring ones own private tractor. I can see by the excellent photos that many heartbeats went into this beautiful restoration. I hope you sell enough raffle tickets to realize a healthy profit for your club. By the way, what year A is it?
