I bought a 3600-A international back hoe loader around a 1978.
The machine doesnt move I am going to check pressures on the forward and reverse lines see if there is a problem there.

I thought it could be charge pump to. The hydraulics in the hoe don't work very well either I was told.

Could there be a problem with suction to the pumps. I lnow there are 3 pumps for the steering and hyadrulics and the charge pump is for cooling abd high pressure.

Has anyone had this problem before??

The 656 is very similar to this machine.
Thanks Pat

Hey Pat - I'm sure that 'hoe is a lost cause. Why don't you just tow it over to my place and leave it - I'll take care of disposing it for you(!) ...Bob

Mornin' Pat,

If it were a suction problem, it would seem that the trouble would show up in that primary pump also, wouldn't it?

Hate to say it, but in your case, let's hope the trouble is in the secondary pumps. :>(

The local red shop here has a gasser torn down that they said someone tried to "pull start". That thing totally exploded inside, much like an overran T/A would do.

Dunno,

Allan
