Did the cub hydralic pumps have a tendency to leak hydralic oil into the engine, like super A and C's did? HOW hard is it to change the seal if I had to ? Plowpusher

George is right on as usual. If you go to the Cub Manual Server, you will find under the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals, the 1024- Touch Control Manual. Also, under Cub Maintenance is the Touch Control Maintenance Manual (slightly different). In the Parts Manual section you should be able to find the part numbers you neeed. Remember to ensure you have the right part number from your reservoir.

Yes, they also have that tendency. The hardest part of the job is draining the system. That's easy too if you don't care if you make a mess. There are two different pumps. One that uses a regular seal and the later one that seals with an O-ring.
