Ive got 13.6x38's on my M. what is the widest tire that I can put on these rims. Will 15.5x38's fit?

Probably the biggest rim you will find that isn't high priced is a 12 inch. You could put a 15.5 x 38 on it, but it will look like a wedge and really isn't safe. I am running 16.9 x 38's on my M, but I changed the wheels to a 400 style, which allowed me to use the newer style rims. They are available in wider varieties. I have also used MH 44 hubs with 16 inch 9 bolt hole tin rims and an 18.4 tire.

If you got a 11 inch rim go with a 14.9 X 38 tire. They look real good and give the tractor a beefier look. They are a little taller tire them the other sizes you said. The 15.5 X 38 are wider but not as tall and will make the back of the tractor sit a little low. I pull my M with 14.9 X 38's and get good traction. If you drive your tractor on the road you will notice a big difference in speed with a taller tire.

Leroy: Read the information on the tire, It will state the rim size that will give optimum traction. If the tire is too wide for the rim, it will distort tire shape and may not give the traction you currently have with 13.6x38. Then you really haven't said how wide the rims are.
