What do you think a 706 GAS is worth. 3 pt, WF, rears worn but not cracked, old cab. Seems to run good.
Any thing inherently bad about these?

Thanks

I have bought them from 800 bucks up to 4000 bucks . The worst thing i can think off is having to get into the rear end to fix the range trans because someone dropped it into park while it was still moving or revs is chipped because someone slammed it into rev. The shift linkage does get woren but that is not a big deal A couple hundred bucks and it like new and that is only if it is plum slap wore out next thing is the T/A for me not a big deal like everything else nothing that money won't fix. I have lots count of the 706 's that i have had and will buy more . Sold them to my good freinds and they are still my good freinds.

I see a lot of these around the $3500 to $4000 price for gassers. The one thing bad are the shifters i hear. seems to get sloppy with age and can get stuck between gears or come out of gear. I'm sure someone can enlighten you more than me though.
