I have a few of the F-series tractors and decided it would be even more fun to play with some implements. I have no clue as to what implements (IH brand only of course) were available to them. I've heard of the little genius plows and trip plows but have no model numbers. What implements and their model numbers were sold for the F-series during the 1930's. What would be something for me to start on. Thanks.

I have a 1936 F-20 with a mounted No.7 3-Row Middlebuster, and two 2-row Middlebusters for my 1929 Regular. There were about a half dozen cultivators available for the F-20, and some more for the Regular, all were different, along with mowers, plows, planters, listers, etc. As time advanced, so did the design of the mounted equipment. I have Operator's manuals for most of the F-20 equipment, and lots for the F-12.

There were several families of drag implements available, Little Wonder, Little Genius, Disk Plows, Disk Harrows, Planters, etc. Inside these families, there were different setups for number of rows and types of crops, types of soil, etc. Email me if you wnat more info than you can handle.

I have a single bottom mechanical lift plow that came off of an F12. It ought to be worth $150.

third party image

Little Genius number 8 tractor plow would be appropriate (available on rubber or steel wheels). I have included a picture of my 1936 F-20 with #8 plow.

The mower, if I remember correctly, was a QA-16.

I know they had mowing machines, plows and cultivators - not sure what else they had. Its also possible to find plows and cultivators that worked form a hydraulic lift - I have a F14 with a plow that works off the hydraulic lift and have seen cultivators that do the same. I found all my implements in a salvage yard.

Doesn't matter if it is mounted or not. I'm not sure what the advantages are. Just absorbing all the information available to me.
