John: Where are you coming to us, from. The reason I ask is 364 is one of the lesser known British built IH tractors here in North America, as I don't think it was ever officially sold here through IH chanels. Any that came here came with immigrants. It is a very close relative to tractors like 434, 444, 354, 384 etc.

There are guys out of the UK that know this tractor, haven't seen them on here in past few days. One guy is Roy in UK. You might try posting to their attention. Sorry I cant be more help, try a new thread with title Need help with British IH tractor. That may raise them.

It may be as simple as someone saying there is Hugh MacKay answering, he doesn't know anything about British tractors. If that works, so be it.

IH 364 diesels were surely sold in the states. I own one (3rd owner) that was sold in the East Texas area and has never left. They are pretty common here since I live in a part of the world where noone ever needed more than a 40hp tractor until the last 15-20 years. But, I agree, it is hard to find folks on forums that know much about them.

John: I see you have taken my advice, I think that is best way to go. I really know nothing about that tractor other than what I've already told you. I think you will get results.
